剧情：乐手小喇叭（韩非 饰）和工厂女工阿翠（李丽华 饰）相恋多年，两人一直渴望能够携手步入婚姻的殿堂，无奈囊中羞涩，没有足够的钱来举办一场盛大的婚礼。小喇叭拒绝了邻居和朋友们的帮忙，想要靠自己的力量凑钱，他好不容易靠卖馄饨赞了一笔钱，却因为阿翠的父亲受伤看病而将这笔钱花掉了。 阿翠的爸爸不忍心看见两个年轻人被钱所困，于是谎称住在朋友家，将自己的家让给小两口，实际上流落街头，小喇叭最终发现了老人善意的谎言，又将他请回家。之后小喇叭企图用肥皂箱建造一座木屋用来结婚，可一转眼就被地主给拆除了。日子眼看着越拖越久，这婚到底能不能结呢？
